Be Careful Giving Out Credit Card Information

In a new credit card scam, criminals are finding a way to get people to hand over their three digit security code.

Using the consumers credit card, the thieves will calling pretending to be from the credit card company. The scammers will be able to repeat the credit card number, making them seem more credible.

The next stage the criminal will do, is ask for the credit card holder to confirm the number in the back of the card. After they have this number, they can make purchases using the credit card number.

Consumers are advised to not hand out any personal information from anyone claiming to be from their credit card company.
